alex mainski was born in August 1974 in cologne, germany. his musical interests started in the late 80s - buying tons of records. electronic body music and other electronic music facettes aroused the wish to create his own sound. the first demotape of the three-head-project "cyborx" got reviews in fanzines from all over the world - followed by two tracks for a compilation on pulsbit records.
in 1990 a holiday in spain was the first time alex listened to techno in a club. infected by the spirit of the crowd all his love was given to this new style of dancemusic. he started to upgrade his studio and formed "full logiq". experiences in dj-ing have been done in aachens underground-club "yoma", where he could even play his own tracks. besides he created sounds for softwarecompanies used in presentations.
after a break he is back again - all new. the name 88Bit was found in 2006. His equipment shrinked to a controller and digital audio workstations. the year 2007 started all good by remixing claus bachor`s "greencard" and d.diggler`s "odic force".

Banshee

Biography Born in the legendary Kreis 4 quarter in Zurich in 1974, Marc Gabriel grew up in this multi-cultural quarter. It was just the right place to raise a curious kid like Marc. Being in his teens in the 80s, he took big impression from different sounds. The entry to the strange world of synthesizer pop he found with laser dance and he rested with this upcoming electronic beats for a longer time. Royal House, Bomb The Bass, Rififi are just some of the late 80s acidhouse acts that accompanied him into the nineties. In these wild times his long hair had to make place for a purple iroquese and his sound preferences changed to punk acts like the Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys or The Exploited. Always on the lookout for new sounds, nobody was actually surprised when Banshee visited his first Techno rave in 1992, famous Dreamscape 1 in Zurich. This power and unlimited possibilities in Techno enthralled him on the spot. No limits or boundaries, no rules or conventions.
Everybody was just allowed to be himself and tolerated. Appropriate is what u like! Shortly after he was talked into organising a Techno evening in a club of a friend of him. So thats when Banshee started his actual deejaying, this was in 1993 in the NeverEnd Club in Central Switzerland. Reactions where just huge and from then on he was regularly seen in the DJ shops searching for the newest and hottest vinyls. Labels like famous Eye-Q, Harthouse, Superstition or Delirium where just about his taste and frequently played in his sets. In this time the first Goa-openair-raves in the Swiss mountains started, as well as the legendary Happy Family raves in Lucerne and Chur. With his longtime friend and companion DJ Marquez he founded the DJ Team Space Force and they steadily developed their music progressively and away from the trance side. He was given the opportunity to play his music in locations like the famous Alcatraz Club in Riazzino, Magic Factory in Zurich, White House in Althenrein, Planet Electro in Malters, Schuur and Down in Lucerne. More than that, he had resident status with little cult party organizations like Kung Fusion and Art of Prometheus. Since Summer 2003 he is an active member of the cultural network for electronic music (ESYNC) in Lucerne and always willing to contribute to the party scene as well as to the development of subcultural music styles.
He has a profound musical background and his open-minded type does make him a sound virtuoso with almost indefinite influences like Der Dritte Raum, Metallica, Jean Michel Jarre, Run DMC, Massive Attack, or Afrika Bambaataa. So he is often seen at different kinds of concerts where he listens to the diversity of music and afterwards, inspired by the music heard, hell implement these vibes into his philosophy and his own idea of electronic dance music. And this was how the newest project electric circus was born, in cooperation with DJ Marquez and DJ Mitura. The guys once more want to bring something new to the partycrowd as well as the underground scene. Now already established with monthly events in Lucernes Nr.1 Underground club, Level5. Techno, for Banshee, is a playground where anybody has admission. Its not the names and rules that count, only the quality of music and the excitement to conquer new ways and show people who dont have come in touch with Just what youd expect from a sound virtuoso.

Grob
Marco Grob was born 1981 in the Zurich Highlands.
In the early 90s, he heard electronic music for the first time and was fascinated of the new sounds and beats. Few years later, he began to produce his first own tracks. In the beginning with some simple keyboards, drum machines and an Atari computer, after the year 2000 particularly with a notebook and software.
In 2005, Grob played his first live performance in a small club. The feedback was great and he continued to extend his live skills. One year later, he founded a new live project called "Audiosensual" together with DJ Rolandom.

IDEALIST

Berni born 1979 in Zurich City, had a nice childhood in a small town at the lake Greifensee near the city of Zurich, in 1993 he started to be interested in the upcoming and existing electronic music scene.
Influenced by several electronic music styles he came interested in djing, and after a short time he could already play at some small gigs in his hometown. After a while he wanted to start to do his own music, djing wasn't enough, he kind of wanted to understand the material behind the music and wanted to do his own tracks. Fascinated by gear like the unaffordable tb 303, tr 909, he started in 1995 to do his own music with similar machines. He also started to take lessons in playing keyboards, to improve doing his own music.
His preferences in electronic music changed after a while, starting as a techno/trance/acidhouse dj with German idols, trip hop, "electro", bigbeat, breakbeat and old school hip hop (funk, electro boogie) and artists such as aphex twin, massive attack, portishead, dj hell, rockers hifi, matthew herbert, dj wally, tricky, grandmaster flash, curtis blow, coldcut, mouse on mars, asian dub foundation, primal scream, death in vegas, fsol got his favourites...
Due to his changed preferences and taking lessons in playing keyboards, he bought a little hammond keyboard and started to play more and more than to do sequencer generated music. He was also into rock music...
In 2000 after 5 years of making music and 3 years of taking lessons, he quit the whole music thing, had to concentrate on his school and invested all of his spare time in skateboarding... It also seemed to himself that there wouldn't be any inspiring electronic music scene out there any more... After Years of Skateboarding, but still into the "four to the floor rhythm based" dance music, he started to like the party scene around the Escherwyss. Especially the dachkantine with their more experimental approach to the rest of the party scene did it do him. In late 2004 a friend showed him music from akufen, funkstörung, lali puna etc. and after seeing with a little bit of scepticism some of those new laptop live acts, he soon got aware of those new techniques and got really impressed. He knew he had to start to produce music again. After making music for more than a half year, the dachkantine closed their doors in March 2006, but he knew he wouldn't stop to make music ever again...
